I moved to Elk Grove in 1990 to provide a better life for my family.

With the love and support of my wife Jan Detrick of 22 years, we have realized many of our dreams, and much more. Elk Grove is a great community, and it is where we chose to raise our three sons: Steven, Brian and Nick.

I have been employed with PG&E for 34 years, currently as an Associate Electric Distribution Engineer.

My position involves leading a group of overhead and underground electrical engineers that serve PG&E and the Northern California Communities with service planning, new business and reconstruction projects for individuals, developers, cities, counties and the State of California.

My family and I have been involved in Youth Sports at all levels - coach and/or supporter for water-skiing, disabled water-skiing, baseball, soccer, football and basketball. I am a national competitor in USA Water-Skiing and I have achieved nationally rated status as a senior driver and judge.
