The Elk Grove Firefighters of Local 522 have announced their endorsement of Steve Detrick for Elk Grove City Council. The announcement comes on the heals of the Elk Grove Police Officers Association, making Detrick the public safety choice.

"I believe public safety is the most important role of government," said Detrick. "That is why I am honored to receive this endorsement."

The Elk Grove Firefighters of Local 522 join a string of recent Detrick endorsements, including the EGPOA, the California Republican Party and a number of local business leaders.
